This Privacy Policy describes how Juban Technology Limited (“Juban”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in Hong Kong, collects, uses, and shares information when you use Baeb (the “App”), our location-based application for meeting and chatting with people nearby.
By using Baeb, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Profile information. When you create an account, you provide information such as your nickname or display name, age, gender, photos, and a short bio.
Approximate location. Baeb is a location-based service. While you are online, we collect your device’s approximate location in order to show you people nearby. Your location is randomized before it is displayed to other users — your exact coordinates are never shown to anyone.
Presence. We process your online / offline status in real time so that nearby users only see people who are currently available.
Preferences. Settings you choose in the App, such as your preferred distance range.
Messages. The content of chats you exchange with your matches, which is necessary to deliver the messaging service.
Device and usage data. Basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and general interactions with the App, used to keep the service reliable and secure.
Other users of Baeb can see your profile — your nickname, age, photos, and bio — together with your approximate, randomized distance and your online status. Switching to offline mode hides you from the map.
Please do not include sensitive personal details (such as your exact address, financial information, or government identifiers) in your profile or chats.
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing us at hello@jubantech.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records for legal or safety purposes.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Baeb is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete the account and associated data.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address, with the “Last updated” date shown above. Material changes will be highlighted in the App where appropriate.
